I have a friend in Switzerland who agreed to show me around for a few days in the Winter. First you see Switzerland's iconic mountain, which is also featured on the...T..tolberone? chocolates. I actually went up to get a closer view of this mountain
Here. It was...minus 34? degrees Celsius. I forget, but it was cold. COLD. When I got back to London, I braced myself for the cold but it was only 9 degrees Celsius. Felt like summer.
Sweets! Not all mine. I just had the bun and spicy hot chocolate.
I love European buildings with paintings on the walls. Italy had those too.
This was in front of a museum I went to. Let me see if I have this right, I *think* there were some soldiers for some non Swiss guy and something happened and they all died? I don't remember. It's a nice monument though.
Okay, so in Switzerland, Punch is a warm drink. It's good though, Kinda like fruit tea.
I thought sweets was candy! I guess it includes desserts as well. Looks delicious. That is great that you were able to visit Switzerland! I like the painted buildings too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots. You look nice with the mountains in the back. Cold, but good. What a beautiful country. Glad you got to go. I want some of those desserts. How was spicy hot choc?
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit spicy. I think I've had cayenne hot chocolate before, but I made it myself so I did't add as much. It was still good though.
