Bouncy Castle!

Yesterday, I learned the hard way that 'lemonade' means 'lemon/lime carbonated beverage' in Britain. At least one agreed that maybe the American definition of lemonade make more sense, the Americans still lose when it comes to Football. American football...should not be called football.
There was a Psych Social for everyone in the department to mark the end of summer exams. Despite having had only one exam, 2 months ago, the majority of the PRM (psych research methods) group showed up!

Olympic Torch Relay

So I went to see the Olympic torch relay in Exeter, UK. Not as good of a spot I had to see the Queen, but good enough. Some people who were sitting stood up and proved to be really tall, but by camera was still able to see things. -.-

I understand crowd control, but I wish there were less people around her.

Some people said the torch looked cheap. haha

These two goof balls were totally in character and jogging in place.

The crowd was leaving so I couldn't get a good pic of them.

Bonus viewing! I didn't expect to be able to see that!

The Queen of England!

We didn't even have to wait that long! We arrived at 10:30 and got a spot right next to the railing. She showed up at about 12:30. It was so exciting just to wait for her. I wish the car had driven more slowly, but- what can you do? And there was live music, including a contestant from the Voice UK.
